Creating an Uncleared Transactions Report in QuickBooks Online

When the transactions are downloaded (added or matched) via Bank Feeds they immediately are marked CLEARED.  After the banks are reconciled, the transactions that were checked during the reconciliation are marked as RECONCILED.  All Other transactions will be left UNCLEARED.

So, I would like to show you how to produce an UNCLEARED transactions report, that basically shows all the bank transactions that are neither CLEARED nor RECONCILED.  First Step is go to the reports section:

And open a Balance Sheet Report:

And then double click on the total balance of bank accounts to see all the bank transactions both RECONCILED/CLEARED and UNCLEARED:

Then, customize the report to only show UNCLEARED Transactions, by click on Customize button on the top-left corner, and scrool down to the Status section and look for “Cleared / All” click on the drop down menu and change it from All to Uncleared.

After you click on Run Report, you can save the report by clicking on Save Customizations on the top of the report

Give it a name such as “Uncleared Transactions” and you will be able to see it in the Reports section under My Custom Reports, and pull it whenever you need.
