QuickBooks Bookkeepers looking for work, read this.

As a QuickBooks Trainer, I run into any people that at are the both sides of the spectrum.  Bookkeepers and QuickBooks trainees looking for work… and Business Owners and Managers looking for talented individuals.

I suggest all candidates to consider the following:

  • Taking an Accounting / Bookkeeping class at a local community college to learn about the industry or refresh your skills. Or become a Certified Bookkeeper (AIPB.org)
  • Taking a QuickBooks Class or Workshop that is hands on and will show you how to use the tool in this high-demand small business position as a QuickBooks Bookkeepers.  Consider one that is comprehensive or has a certificate of completion.  I would say at least 20 hours of training miminim to make it worth it.
  •  Passing the Certified User Exam (Certiport.com) $150 or joining the ProAdvisor Program (proadvisor.intuit.com) $600 per year

A bookkeepers needs to be well versed in accounting and highly technical in QuickBooks in order to be competitive in today’s market.

My office is in South Florida, and I get daily emails from employers and bookkeepers, please email me hector@staging3.justine130.sg-host.com your resume and try to help to match you up.
