October 21-23, 2014 – San Jose, CA
QuickBooks Connect is a once in a lifetime event for anyone connected to QuickBooks in anyway, no pun intended… QuickBooks users, Accountants/QuickBooks Consultants, and Developers all under one roof.
The event is designed to cater to all three groups; with a 2 day Pre-conference events with in-depth QuickBooks training to accountants such as the revered Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification beared by less than 3% of the QuickBooks ProAdvisor community. Several design/programming oriented seminars and “hack-a-thins” for any developers already working with QuickBooks add-ons or trying to design new ones. And QuickBooks users, that has an estimated population of 4+ million people (of course, a very small proportion of that actually fit at QuickBooks Connect, hehe).
Some big names like Arianna Huffington (founder of Huffington Post), Marc Adreessen, (founder of Netscape), Bill Rancic (Entrepreneur and winner of The Apprentice in 2004), and Scott Cook (Founder of Intuit, Inc.) will be gracing the stage with Ted-Style speeches. Also, some of the “big-guns” in the Accounting and QuickBooks world such as Joe Woodard, Gregg LaFollete, Michelle Long CPA, and Darron Root CPA will also be present in several breakout sessions.
The beautiful and smart Stacy Kildal and not-so beautiful Hector Garcia will be at a QuickBooks Online Small firm practice panel so share our experiences in transitioning our clients to the cloud. We are very excited to share and learn with our fellow accountants this fall at QuickBooks Connect!
The event is priced at $169 which is the best priced 2-day accounting/technology conference I have ever seen, and this being the FIRST of its kind, it will be very accesible. I reckon than within 3 years of this successful (hopefully annual) event, the price will be closer to the $300-$400 range as most conference of this type and length are.
If you are a loyal QuickBooks user, QuickBooks Developer, or Accountant, I strongly recommend to consider joining us at QuickBooks Connect.
