If you did not watch the video, you can read my review here… There are two great new features added to QuickBooks Mac in 2015 that you will not find on QuickBooks Pro or QuickBooks Online and add some character to the Mac version, which are:

- Batch import transactions: you can now batch import via copy/paste from excel spreadsheets into multiple transaction types: Invoices/CreditMemos, Payments, Sales Receipt, Deposits, Checks, Bills/BillCredits, and Credit Card Charges/Credits.
Also with an Excel spreadsheet template is included to make the import process even easier:
You can type the data yourself or use copy/paste to bring the data into QuickBooks Mac:
These features, with exception to Payments, are available win QuickBooks Desktop… but you must use Accountant edition
- Expense Tracker: great place to see all your vendor related transactions such as open purchase orders, open bills, and paid checks/bills.

You will also find a few great small improvements that enhance the user’s experience and functionality:
- Budgets: Create budgets by fiscal year and gain business insights as you evaluate how you are doing against your plan. Easily run reports and compare your actual performance to your goals. Using Budgets enables you to better manage your finances: it lets you focus on priorities and provides early warning on potential issues.
- Attachments:NowInclude supporting documents where you need them. You can now attach any relevant files to:
- Chart of Accounts (statements, loan documents, etc.)
- Items List (pictures, receipts, item maintenance records, etc.)
- My Company Preference (contracts, agreements, ,etc.)
- Employees and Other Names (pictures, contracts, employee evaluations, letters)
- Vehicles (pictures, contracts, insurance)
- Sales Reps (performance records, 1099s, etc.)
- Make Deposits (deposit slips, other banking records)
- Reconcile (bank statements)
- All transactions (available in version 2014): Checks, Credit Card Charges, Bills, Invoices, Purchase Orders, etc…
- Customize e-mails
Customize the subject line with invoice number and any text you want.
- Sales Tax Liability Drill Down
double click on any amount within your Sales Tax Liability to QuickZoom into a transaction detail report.

Send to Accountant
New streamlined process to convert QuickBooks Mac to QuickBooks Windows and backup into predetermined folder, great for Dropbox!
- Searchable and Sortable registers:
you can search/filter line items and sort register based on date, ordered entered, etc.
- Updated Deposits:
access and search deposits history on the left and customer/transaction detail on the right
- QuickMath
now available within all calculable fields.
- Custom date formats
supports display and entry of dates in formats pre-defined by Mac OS X preferences.
