Bank Feeds
You can re-order bank accounts on the QuickBooks Online (QBO) home page now.
Click the pencil icon at the top of the bank account list. This allows you to shuffle the order of the accounts any way you like.
Note the little symbols now at the edge of each bank account entry. When hovering over the symbol, the mouse cursor becomes the four-headed arrow you see in the screenshot. You are now able to drag the individual account up and down into any order that works for you.
This change on the home page updates the banking page as well so it shows the accounts in the order you specified.
QBO also introduced some additional capabilities to the banking transactions screen.
QuickBooks alters bank transaction details, essentially replacing them with a simpler entry into the description column. If you would rather, you can keep the full bank description. Select the gear icon over the transaction list and choose “Show bank details.”
Note the checkbox in the settings list at the right of the screenshot. We have checked the Show bank details option and the column headers in the transaction list have been updated.
The description column is replaced by the bank details column. By comparing the above screenshot with the one before, you can see the change in the entered information in that column.
If you will look close at the settings options in the list in the above screenshot, you will notice another new selection. That is “Copy bank detail to memo.”
This option is selected by default. It copies the bank detail into the memo field of the imported bank transactions.
